On the occasion of the 1st anniversary celebration of the Noronha Institute, we held an event featuring a brilliant lecture by journalist Fabrício Carareto, editor-in-chief of the newspaper Diário da Região, on the theme: “Freedom of Press and Expression in the Era of Disinformation.” The opening was conducted by the founder and idealizer of the Noronha Institute, Durval de Noronha Goyos Jr, followed by special appearances from the political journalist of Diário da Região, Maria Elena Covre, and Professor Dr. José Manoel de Aguiar Barros.
